Refinance & capitalEquipment refinance, cash-out & sale-leaseback
Put the machines and trucks you already own to work. Lower your monthly payments, consolidate equipment debt, or release equity from paid-down equipment.
Three ways to use your equipment
Lower or reset your payments
Replace existing equipment loans with new terms, for example to lower the payment, extend the term or combine several notes into one.
Borrow against equity
If your equipment is worth more than you owe, refinance and take the difference as working capital.
Free up owned equipment
Sell equipment you own outright and lease it back. You keep operating it and gain cash to grow.
Common reasons contractors and towing companies refinance
- Funding the down payment on a new machine or truck without draining cash
- Getting through the winter slowdown or a slow-paying job
- Covering mobilization costs on a large new contract
- Consolidating several equipment notes into one payment
- Paying off higher-cost debt such as merchant cash advances
- Funding major repairs or insurance renewals
What we'll ask for
Refinance and sale-leaseback deals are based on the equipment's value and your business's ability to pay.
- List of equipment: year, make, model, serial or VIN, and hours or mileage
- Current payoff letters for any existing equipment loans
- Titles for trucks and equipment owned free and clear
- Business tax returns and recent bank statements
- How you plan to use the funds
Refinance FAQ
How much cash can I get from my equipment?
It depends on the equipment's current market value, what you still owe and your business profile. We'll review your equipment list and give you a realistic range.
What's the difference between cash-out refinance and sale-leaseback?
With a cash-out refinance you keep ownership and take a new loan against the equipment. With a sale-leaseback you sell the equipment and lease it back. Your accountant can help you decide which fits your tax situation.
Can I refinance equipment that is already financed?
Yes. The new financing pays off your existing lender, and you make one new payment.
Does equipment age matter?
Yes. Newer equipment with strong resale value supports larger amounts and longer terms. Well-known construction brands tend to hold their value well.
